We encourage you to share this event and look forward to seeing you there!

The Bristol Timeline of Enslavement goes national!

This past September,  I had the chance to travel to Boise, Idaho for the American Association of State and Local History's (AASLH) 2023 conference. I am honored to be able to share that the Bristol Timeline of Enslavement has received a 2023 Award of Excellence from the AASLH, one of the main awards in their Leadership in History Awards program. We are the only Rhode Island project to win this year and the first to do so in the last four years!

I would like to thank everyone whose support made my research, the timeline, and the database possible, especially my FANTASTIC mentors Catherine, Charlotte, and Jerrad whose continued support, guidance, and patience have meant the complete and utter world to me. Thank you for your utter patience with my endless questions and worries.
